Not suppose to fade so quick.
My original GX discs was over skimmed to only 0.8 cm thick. They use to fade if I did three to four 120km/h to 0km/h or 40km/h stops right after each other.
Of course I don't have to elaborate what I was busy doing at those speeds.
Now I have "bakkie" discs which are 1,5cm thick.Brand new. Still have to look for the limit on them.

Dont replace pads and discs at the same time, do the pads and then a month down the track the discs.

Hey Jeff, your finaly on the Forums! Its Chris from Nannatee Way.

I would say the EBC's would be a good investment if you are gonna get stuck into hill climbs etc.

I just have ####ty RDA's in the thou and have never gotten brake fade yet

You shouldnt have a problem with 180b brakes if they are in good condition. What sort of pads are in there now and how worn? How fresh is your brake fluid?
