Unless you find something that is obviously way undervalued, I dont think its worth the trouble, trying to turn a couple of hundered bucks profit on a car, one thing breaks on it and your losing money, maybe you misread the market, losing money again, and it only takes up valuable time you could be spending on your important projects.

I've never paid more than $500 for a datsun, except my 1600 was $2350 (It seemed a good buy but really wasnt).

We bought daisy for $400 back in 1996, absolute granny minter back then.

I have $600 for a MINT 2 door sedan.
Further more I bet no one can find a mint Datsun 2 door sedan or coupe or ute, or even sedan or wagon in Qld for that kind of coin.
The challenge is out there

didnt you ask that last week?
If its been there for a year at $800, how long will you have it for if you advertise it for more than that???

There was a guy with a pretty mint original 2door sedan in queensland a few months ago, struggled to sell it for $600.

I hear stories about people picking up 2 doors for next to nothing.
It really blows me away.
I think a tidy 2 door would be worth just over a grand.
I've seen very untidy ones go for about $600 on ebay.

How long is a piece of string?

Is it rough wound string?
Does it have some frayed bits that may break & reduce the length?
How long does it have to be to do the job?
Who's measuring it?

But seriously, your question can only be decided by the buyer & seller based on condition, kms, asking price etc, etc.
