Wade definitley made a "169" grind for A-series. They may have discontinued them now, but I purchased several of them in the early nineties for road based builds. I might even still have an old photocopied spec sheet, but from memory they were a faily mild cam, timing around 30-70. Good for a road car, motorkhana's, SU's etc.

Well I had a look on both the Wade & the Tighe sites. While they use a numeric system to identify their cams, this number did not appear, so we can rule them out.

i pulled apart an a14 bottom end for rebuild and noticed it had been tampered with before. some of the nuts that held the conrod caps on were rounded and the pistons looked possibly not the originals...

anyway the cam has "169" stamped on the face under the cam sprocket. is this standard?
