Pallet shipping seems to be the least expensive. I got a quote at $370 for a 24"x24" pallet. Weight doesn't matter, it is the size that counts generally speaking for sea shipping.

For the bumpers, if they could be cut in two, then they would fit into a box small enough to send via AU Post.

Sure angliagt. The rear is the only one worth saving though. The front is bent pretty badly.

FYI - the cheapest quote I got was for sea freight without insurance from the USA to Australia for a 5 speed and it was just over $300 US.

It'd have to be a fairly cheap tranny in that case...

There could be cheaper places though...

If you get Aussie spec bumpers you will not need those bumper shocks up front or in the rear.

I have both the front and the rear Aussie spec bumpers, took two months by boat from Australia for the rear. 2 weeks or so, for the front from Portugal.

They do look nice except for them being a bit rough. I can live with it though.

I imagine the cost of transporting the box would be prohibitive. Anyone know who could give a quote for freight?

Maximum length for international australia post packages is 105cm, which is less than the length of a bumper. So bumpers would probably have to be couriered by DHL or something, which = $$$.
