I've just read the previous thread on making a short shifter (for a 1200).
I had no idea how involved it was!
Anyhow I'd like one for my L series if anyone can help.

I think I saw a few cheap ones on ebay a while ago. . . may save some time or at least give you some ideas.

hi guysive got my gbox out and thought if possible might make a short shifter proper one, not the one made with a hacksaw, anyways i have an idea of whats involved but can someone who has done it or knows what theyre talking about can tell me how to do it, do u just move the pivot point closer to the box or what?
