Crzy, yes you will have to use a expander/reducer as the lines on the tank are 1/4 inch.

I normally pull all the small return type tank out from the right hand guard.
With the surge tank, they can be plumbed a couple of ways. Bottom efi feed, Top pipe is return to tank, Next down is return from engine, third down is fill from tank with low pressure pump.
The other way is to run the top back to tank, second one down is the low pressure fill, and very bottom is the High pressure efi. But the return from the engine goes straight to the main tank, as the fuel is now warm from being pumped through two pumps at pressure and fed into a warm fuel rail. And if this warm fuel keeps getting added to the surge tank, it slowly brings temp of all the fuel in the surge.

Hey guys..

im after sum advice, for the surge tank set up

i no the buttom hose of the surge tank is to the engine, middle is to lifter, top hose is return and top top is overflow to the tank..

but do people use that big box in the side of the tray still? or do u disconnect the lines from it and use on the surge tank?

and does the overflow one just go straight to the top of the tank with a T piece?

cheers, Ben
