Well from the face of the hub to the inner end on my disc hubs is 53mm. Overall they're 90mm end to end and the face is 154mm in diameter. Not too sure if they'll work but it looks slightly promising. I guess I'll have to find one to try it out with.

The numbers stamped into the body of the inserts are:

MMB122B
KYBBC25

Mate i'm sure if you need another pair of drum hubs they won't be hard to find as most people have them lying about. Well the ones who didn't do what you did and probably what i would do and bin 'em.

So what are you trying to achieve with the drum hub on the disk strut? When I was trying to sort out my front end set up I found that the brackets for the Caliper were going to be Bloody hard to make to suit the disk strut.
Instead why dont you slip the s13 disk over the drum hub and then get 2.5mm machined off the mounting face of the hub. Or half machined of the disk hat and half machined off the hub face. That will leave yu with stock track width.
With that setup you may run into trouble with the caliper contacting on the back of the wheel.
Mine just touched but I just cleaned up the caliper with the grinder and its perfect.

yea i will be very happy if the hub thing works as im getting myself into the same thing.
By any chance do you have a part number for the shocks ? Just makes getting them a hole lot easier.

I'll get out one of my spare disc hubs and measure it.... I had some drum struts/hubs that I tossed out too... gonna kick myself if that would have been the go...

Thanks for the idea/advice.

On another tangent, I measured the thickness of some newer (97 ish) Camaro disc hats and they were only 3 mm! These were like 11" rotors too at least. The S13 discs are 8mm thick in the hat. Got me thinking about thinning them out some and cutting back the surface of the hub a little, like 4mm hat thickness and 3mm off the hub, then just raise the front a tad, but I'm not too sure about the safety.

Oh yeah the inserts I'm running are KYB from Matsuoka. 100mm shortened housings (the late ute disc strut housings are longer than the drum ones).

for reference sake i measured my drum hub (b110).
Came up with these figures:
47mm from base to mounting face
82mm overall length
~155mm mounting face dia

If someone could measure up a disk hub that would be a big help in the unraveling of this mystery.

Also i have been told the drum stub axle is thicker which means the bearing will have a larger internal dia. Im thinking if the disk bearing has the same outside dia as drum bearing then you could use the drum hub on disk bearing on disk strut and not have to machine outer dia of hub.
Could be a lot cheaper than a new hub??
Just putting thoughts out there

haha my bad dude. should have read it properly.
What shocks have you used in your coilover setup?

Im not an engineerer or anything but i think you will be fine with a shorter hub to compensate the 8mm. If you for some reason decided to make a longer hub then i would be worried of the stress levels pulling on bearing and stub axle.
Because it will be that little be shorter you would think the forces would be acting in a more "central" (for lack of a better word) manner of the bearing/stub axle rather than creating a large torque around the bearing/axle if it was further out with a longer hub.
Like holding a ruler at the very end and waving it around then holding it further to the middle and waving it around... les wave


Im sure you will be fine. Prob pay to check with an engineer rather than us though as im sure he would be much more help.
Any pics of the coilover setup nowadays?
