Try liquid propane =) leaks at 200psi are pretty easy to find.

Propane systems also have nice electrical fail safes at 3 places in the fuel delivery line and fuel line with steel braiding.

28 psi is about right. The higher the pressure, the hotter your fuel pump will run, and the noiser the fuel pump will be. Many fuel pumps will lock up after 60 mins in traffic, even if run at 28psi on 30+degree C days. The VL External EFI pump is one such pump. I lost 2 or 3 hours of my life finding out this fact.

My Walbro runs at 45psi, but I'm all aftermarket... But at 20psi boost...65psi fuel pressure can make a big fire.

Re-used hose clamps on the fuel lines start to scare me at 65psi.

higher pressure does apparently attomise the fuel better but if you do this you will need to retune your car as more fuel will squeeze through due to the extra psi
