Ford Laser KQ was 1999-2003, and apparently is a Mazda 323/Familia model. WikiPedia

The pic above looks like a 'euro' Ford Focus ... which hey! was designed by Mazda... (In the USA, the '08s are still the 'old' Focus model, not the new one that's been available in Europe for three years...

Conclusion: Ford, Mazda. There is no difference. My 1994 Mazda B3000 pickup truck says "Made by Ford Motor Company" right on the manfacturer's build plate.

Peter, very nice! Now that you've had it three years, if you want to sell it, let me know. This is the kind of ute I want -- I like the A-power.

Dodgeman, thanks for the ford info - I'm not sure iti's the same car buy Mazda had the Protege over here. Its a compact 2 or 4 door, the only thing small I've seen in Ford of that era would be the Escort & I don't think the focus was out then.

Any idea what those seats are out of?
Thanks, Evan

Very nice!!! i must say you could eat in that engine bay! Heaps clean, Is the booster/master brand new? whats it from, or aftermarket? also the shaved rear end looks hot and i noticed you got 6x9 in the doors hey (does it rattle heaps?) all round very nice, so its now time to enjoy.

This ute makes me want to finish mine even faster, but im going as fast as i can.

yep those are reversing sensors, I figured after putting all of the effort into shaving the bumpers off would be wasted on the first thing u backed into.

Uuuuuhhhhh...
Ohhhhhhh....
I think I just wet myself.
That interior is perfect! The choice is perfect. Is the grey color original or did you change the color?

Just awsome!!!
