iv got a red 85 ute exactly like that but doesnt have a badge on it does that mean mine is worth more then i think or is this bloke just dreamin

It's true this ute has been for sale for months at this price, sure it looks good but its only worth $11k if you want to put it in a shed on blocks for another 20 years.

I thought you only had a budget of $2,500 -$4,500 ?

What is it you are after, something already done you can just jump in and drive or something cheap to do up ?

For $11k I'd want the thing to be M I N T (if it was standard of course). And if I was able to find a showroom condition unit I wouldn't be cutting it up.

I think the last one is a bit steep, keep searching. There's a 1200 ute on eBay with a CA for around $6-7k. It's in Sydney too.

iv seen that on there for a long time... its a tidy ute but i would never pay that much... not sure how much a limited edition or whatever it is, is worth. if your doing one up then i would go for a cheap one. no point in getting a "rare" one to work on. unless your just gonna clean it up and keep it original

Another Ute i found and it was Orginally from the town i live in & it is only 2 1/2hrs travel to look at which is way better than some of the others i was looking at.

Im thinking of going to look at it but want to offer him a more reasonable price for it as i think $11,000 is way over the top! I want to drive it for a while until i get the Shed built on my block of land then slowly start to do it up.
Can any one give me some rough figures of what its worth please as i am really considering buying it.

for 2200 it wasnt rust free, witch means the one on ebay is better then yours.

Emailed that person for some photos & he said he cant get me any as he lent his camera to family for a few weeks.

Was looking at another in Alice Springs NT lol. Trading Post 1200 Ute Rung the bloke and talk to him and he has owened it since new, Has a little bit of rust on the RH/Front Guard and maybe a bit in the door. He has been offered $3000 for it by a work mate so and he must of said no cause he still has it hehe $4000 ono.
Ill keep looking any way but its hard to go and look at them in person as im so far away from everything.
