I would have liked some semi slicks, New 18'BuddyClubs and 15,000km old tyres didnt quite stick to the tarmac on accelaration but pretty good threw corners.
51.66 was my best, was hoping fo a 10th run.

They havent been released, I wasnt in the 1200 as i sold it, but came 4th in class in the EVO4 powered Mirage.
John Donohoe came in front of me in his CAturbo 1200 coupe.
That said the trophies handed out during presentations was pretty much datsun against the world

Yep,i am looking forward to another crack at the place, unfortunatly now i've sold the B10 i can't go for back to back class wins.

The new owner say's he will be attending.

My ride this year will be in the little KB10 against all the Cooper S minis,i knocked all but one off at Stanthorpe last outing,so should be competitive i hope.
It's still possible the Sunny Sports Sedan may be finished in time.

No, wish i did. But spectated both.
The first year it was run i was going to run my EVO but my nomination was late, and this year the 1200 wasnt ready with the suspension hitting bump stops.
Im all set for this year. Just building the trailer as we speak.
Only 2 things on my wish list are CA18 gearbox and R31 diff. But will be running with the stumpy and H165 if need be.

I've just recieved the mail out for the Maryborough Sprints. To be run on the dates above.
Ive sent my form in and cant wait to have a go.
They are after expressions of interest atm and this will cost you a deposit of $70, and will get you a "starting position" for this years event.
Field is limited to 175 competitor and total cost of entry is $170 including CAMS ins and camping for 2 people.
I suggest people who are interested to get in quick as positions are filling quickly.
For more info www.wheelsonwidebay.com.au or email wheelsonwidebay@yahoo.com.au
