daniel I currently use a cobra monaco, the best of the cheaper units at around $400-450 and still made in the uk. not very comfy or suppotive, however I have used an out of date velo seat which was the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in. I just up my own new label... the scruts won't pick it up...my suggestion is get a very good out of date seat and use it. make up a label...as u know it would be better and safer than a new cheaper one. even if on the off chance they pick it up which I highly doubt you could talk yourself out of it or they will mark your logbook to fix it for next meeting. you won't miss racing that weekend.

Daniel,i don't think we need fully approved seats at our level, even at IPRA state level, but check the new manual before going out and spending a kings ransom.

As the title suggests, I'm looking for the best value brand, type and place to buy some race seats for my 1000 coupe. I'd consider decent used seat(s) if I come across any, but I haven't yet. What's out there ???
