Well, we didnt have the turn out we had hoped for on Saturday, but we had beautiful weather and those who did make it appear to have had a great time, as did we. Thanks to our sponsors and to those who took the risk and showed up to the first running of the event. We would love to run the event again at sometime in the future, maybe 12 or 18 months down the track, keep an eye out on the website www.melburgorbust.com for updates in the next month or so and hopefully a big announcement or two.



Also if anyone has any pics of the event, If they could email them to melburgorbust@hotmail.com that would be fantastic, as I only have photos of the awards giving.

yeah, sorry about that oen mate, I think it has run out of bandwidth, trying desperately to get it back online. in the meantime heres some of the basics:
Arrival for display cars - 9-10.30am
Public Entrance - 10am
all chrome bumper period cars welcome, we dont care if its a firebreathing monster, restored or a daily driver, infact I will have my 67 Amazon there which has covered about 15000km this year and one of the other helpers will more then likely have his (admittedly immaculate) HT Brougham which is the only car in his family of 4 ! so if you love your car, no matter whether you expect it to win a prize or not, enter it in and have some fun. there will be a goodies bag for entrants with a lube sample and a Aus Classic Car mag, come down and have some fun.

Hi all. Just thought Id let you know about a new carshow i am running, thought you may all be interested. It is an all makes show, focussing on the chrome bumper era, modified/custom/rat/restored/daily's all welcome. Infact there is a bit of a focus on daily drivers, cos all of us involved in the show drive our cars as often as possible, basically if you love your car then we want to see it, the more unique the better. with space for 350 cars it'll be a great opportunity to get out and bask i cool car culture.
