I'm just planning on an early saturday morning trip up unfortunately. I should get there bright and early but just in case I don't you'll have to save me a good pit spot. I think Leigh is coming up for the ride as well.

hey Adrian,

Are you still interested in this? I can't see you on the entry list. I'm still pretty keen myself as the car is all but ready to race again.

only 2.5hours of boring freeway there and same back... not that bad actually. especially if you have a car with cruise control

i've heard that you can get away with alittle less power on winton so thats where i hope the A12 will work good to know you're a little nervous there dave

thanks benny, i'm going with EBC Green stuffs in twinspot sumi calipers and slotted rotors up front and a race rear shoe in the back hopefully it holds up for the time on the track ? but there is a 4spot conversion coming with bias valve to get a nice even front to rear balance a little later

Adrian, Quality brake pads are definately the go on the track. Much time can be saved by outbraking those larger heavier subis.
I have never had the chance to drive on Winton but i believe it is well suited to the smaller cars like 1200's.
Best of luck and Im sure it will be a blast whatever the situation.
