If you can get a tubbed ute engineered why wont he do the diff as well? Only others that will suport a serious rotary would be a 9inch or a borg warner perhaps

yeah io know, but i am, trying to get in on the street.

so engineers need a different diff. what would support the power and be more driveable

in a datsun 1200, a hilux rear should support enough power to get you into the 9 second 1/4 mile bracket easily. probably quicker. any more power and you might want to consider a ford rear end.

i have an issue. trying to get a datsun 1200 on the road.

its got a locked hilux diff in the back.

wanna tub rears to fir 18 x 11's.

need to know what sort of diff's to look at, need something that is going to support a 13b thats making a bit of power!!!
