Here's a chrome rocker cover on ebay at the moment. I've bought one thing from this seller, and my experience was very good. This one starts at $200 usd with no reserve. (I think I could have mine chrome plated a bit cheaper, though)

You're welcome. I too have an Armbrust rocker cover, & Benny is also an owner. I believe that between us we own all there is in Australia.
What's the plan with the PCV fitting that has not yet been provided on your cover?

I too have yet to install one on mine & am fishing for ideas.
What did you do with the oil filler hole, just bore the cover?
Benny's & mine use the threaded section from an L series cover that has been machined & fitted to the Armbrust casting, then welded in place from underneath. This way we get to use the L series oil filler caps, or a billet aftermarket cap.

DDGonzal,

I got the polished Alloy Valve Cover from Australia and 2 Armbrust Alloy Valve Covers from Switzerland...The Australian bolts on with no problems and hardware was included!!
The ones from Switzerland required a great deal of work and money to pay my machinest friend so they would bolt on to the cylinder head!
Here is a link were you can view them... http://picasaweb.google.com/SickStude/Datsun"

Dodgeman, would the Blood sucking tax to which you refer be the one that was introduced by a short bald liar who in 1995 in the run up to the 1996 general election said and I quote " There's no way a GST will ever be part of our policy, never ever". or is it some other blood sucking tax?

No, no, that's not him, the bloke I mean is a short, balding, scum sucking two faced lowlife lying ar53hol3 sleazebag, who would stab his mother in the back if he thought it would win him a vote, but you're pretty right about the quote.
Those words "GST? never ever" ring forever in my ears.
Yeah, that's the BST I mean.

His mongrel bred predecessor, the bloke that lost the unlooseable election to the worlds best treasurer turned leader, lives just up the road from me in the next village.
Is one judged by the company one keeps?

Davo1200, i have a chrome rocket cover on my A14 and i would have to say the best way is to use your factory one or get a spare and send it to the chrome platers. Its the cheapest option keeping the quality and the result like new.

It gets even better. some of the early rocket covers have datsun on them instead of nissan. that would be a rocket cover to get chrome plated.

Just the price $400 AUS for us foreigners OUCH!! plus $55 for shipping

How did the price jump from $330 to $400 Aus for a foreign sale? If anything, it should have been cheaper as the BST [blood sucking tax] should not have applied.
By my reckoning, the purchase price should have been $300 Aus which converts to $277 US at todays exchange rate.

Please don't anticipate a lot of synpathy from this side of the pond in regard to the exchange rate though. I bought a whole Dodge Hemi engine in the US, shipped it from Kansas City to Seattle, then home & my dollar bought 54 cents US at the time. [that was on a good day, ..... it went to 52 cents at times]
Your dollar buys MORE than $1 Aus even now.

Hi Leo,

Did you get the alloy cover (at the beginning of this thread) or the chrome cover?
