it is definately worth it.
thats if it is good underneath the hot house green!

Datsun 1200's are a deathtrap. There is no denying it. They go like hell (With a bit of encouragement) and have very littlle structural integrity. My advise is dont crash.
My oldest freind in the whole world, (Known him for 27 years) had to be cut out of a 1200 coupe on the way home from the pub. Forget safety. They go fast 'cos they weigh fvck all. which makes them easy to go fast. feed your dad some bullsh!t, and tell him they safe as can be.

wat sort of datsun is it?
i got a 1200 ute as my first car lukily i havent crashed it yet mind you im cant drive it on the road yet so i cant help you there
if it is a ute though you would probably have a hard time getting a roll cage in there!

ok guys

i want to buy a datsun my dad owned one and said he is not to keen as he remembers his datsun being very weak so i am just after some experience here how tuff are datsun crash wise? if they are weak can you fit a roll cage in the cab to protect the driver and front on collisions? just after experiences this will be my first car so i want some facts to weather it will be safe.
