If you are not wishing to get a bank loan, I would go 2nd hand for the carbs. I also would say 40s for street use, and Jeff at JTS is probably as good a person to talk to about this as anyone.

Go the 40's for street use. Properly tuned they provide excellent drivability and not bad economy, plus they will be a bit cheaper than injection and you will be able to tune them on the side of the road if need be.
They also sound really cool!

ok if i go sidies i am going to get 40-45mm dcoe webers...now what size? 40 or 45mm? they are going to be brand new and for street use...keep in mind its my daily driver

Most 1200 CA18 owners have been there....

I would consider using maybe a single point throttlebody injection from some othe maker, and keep it all under the factory air filter.

Everything else is $1000-2000. just for the hardware with no electrics.

hey everyone...now i will be getting jts to do my a15 soon and need to know wot to get....40-45mm webbers or fuel injected by efi hardwear most likley...also i want good street power without having to get a bank loan out for the fuel feeding side of thing alone..any help would be tops...cheers
