i have only ever seen 1 datsun 1200 VAN and that was the "Valentines Day" cruise in february this year...dodge u remember the one i mean..it was parked next to luke's ute.

i have my wagonm which will b fnished one day....but i am always on the look ouyt for more parts for her.

u guys thiink getting tail lights is hard to do...try finding rear panels fpr a wagon that have never been on a car! i have known of 2 and i bought one of them. just happened to be the side i needed too!

but like a few people who have wagons i am also always looking for lights! never hurts to have a spare set or 2!!

You're dead right dodgeman. I've only seen maybe ten wagons in my lifetime (in flesh not in pics or on here) and that's including the 3 that i have. I was lucky enough to score these taillights but it took a long time to find them. Funnily enough, as soon as I got them, there were about 5 pairs on eBay within two weeks :)

Wagon tail lights are NLA from Nissan & Wagons were never common even when new, so the chances of finding good or new ones is small, however, they do turn up from time to time.

Always remember that you are not the only one in this situation, so when they do turn up it's a matter of being quick, .... very quick. [like Datwags was, 2 hrs 31 minutes between Ratdats post & his reply.]
The only new ones left now are pretty much old stock that, in most cases, someone has owned for years & was bought back when they were still around.
I suggest that you put some cash aside & simply keep your eyes open in this forum & on eBay so that when some show up, you can act without hesitation.

ratdat_uk, i'm a new kid on the block having major troubles trying to find a pair of rear tail lights for my project datsun wagon. i have tried wreckers, ebay and auto shops but nothing. can i ask where you were able to get these???
