yeh they are getting hard to find. The other thing is that im going to put a fresh engine which will require a change of the diff anyway, but i still want to use it as a run around until i get the money to put the new engine in.

all i can say is be patient and a good car will come along.I had to wait over a year to find one in my budget and locality but it was worth it.They are getting hard to get but i am sure one will pop up.Sounds very expensive to me with a buggered drivetrain anyway.Because its hard to get sheet metal for them i would pay the extra for a good shell though.Mine had a buggered clutch as the old ducks lived in hilly area and liked to slip it a bit...LOL

yeh i got it off ebay but the auction is over and i cant get the pics up anymore, sorry. ill try and post them if i can. I been lookin for a 1200 sedan for months now.

Where'd you find it, eBay, Carsales? Wouldn't mind checking it out just to see what it is like.

Yeh he wont drop the price at all. I mean he has trx wheels, sports exhaust and a bigger carby fitted. Still i have seen better 1200 for that price.

For $2400 I wouldn't be concerned with a little rust in the quarters (I do mean little) but I would be concerned with the buggered diff and clutch. You can drive the car with rust, but not with a buggered drivetrain. At his price I'd want a clean, registered runner.

If it was me I'd keep searching.

I wanna buy a 1200 sedan but im not sure if the deal this guy is making is any good.
Its a 73 with little rust on 1/4 panels. Has 1 month rego but needs a new diff and clutch plate. Wants 2400, any gud?
