Yeah, got the aussie 1200 ute drifting on a dvd at home, I thnk it was ignition coverage of powercruise...

Perhaps it's because we Aussies would need collapsable arms to drift a 1200 ute well.......I've had three by the way.

i am not sure of the dudes name...i am sure i will be sometime after this post... but i heard a rumour there is a full time drift guy in a 1200 ute this year. apparently he was at a power cruise here in brisneyland last year and the drift teams saw him linking the full track including the back straight and now he has a drive for the year....

could be a just a story, but it sounded cool. anyone know about it?

I think a long wheel base car drifts easier than a short wheelbase car. That is why most guys prefer the Nissan 200SX.
The 1200 range is short wheel base.It would be a bit tricky to handle in the drift.
It is much more preferred for track racing because of it go-cart like characteristics.
