the main obstacle to overcome is getting your gearbox dead concentric with the bell housing before you weld it if you have a small misalignment you can correct it with offset dowels dazza

Put the 2 boxes side by side and start measuring. Will also have to convert the clutch cable/hydraulic.
I have a feeling that the spigot may need attention. There is a differnet spline count, but your local clutch place should be able to sort a plate for you. Otherwise redrill the flywheel for an L series 200mm clutch setup.
When you have it sorted, I'll take 2 kits. Seriously.
Don't forget about the tailshaft.
Speedo cable will fit.

Sure, what they do is cut the bell off an A-series 4-speed, and weld it to the L-series 5-speed. Dunno if there are other mods needed.
