Perthute - you've definitely been given a bum steer mate. Your ECU needs to be retuned to suit the new AFM and, as the Z32 version uses a different plug, you will need the wiring modified too. This mod is really only required in high boost, bigger turbo scenarios.

As for the AFM model code question I am not sure but these generally cost $20 so it's probably worth buying a couple anyway.

Part Number Manufactured
22680-58A00 5/99 to 7/89
22680-58A10 7/89 to 1/91

From research I have found that these were the two air flow meters used in the CA18DET engine. Are they interchangable?

I have a faulty 22680-58A00 but can get a 22680-58A10

I would assume they are the same but thought I would ask first ... Cheers
