What 'crank bolts' are you talking about? Rod bolts, Main bearing bolts or flywheel bolts?
"Crank Bolts" is not really very clear.

I'm guessing that it's in a racer as a "fully worked" engine would quite naturally be totally undriveable on the street & if that's the case, you are probably breaking the flywheel bolts when the revs start climbing over 8,500 or 9,000rpm.
It's a common problem.

are there tourqe settings on the site or if not wots recommened?? and is there a patteren to tightening crank bolts like wheel nuts??

Perhaps the installer overtightened them. Use a torque wrench, and dont go too tight.

something not right ive built many race engines using new genuine STD bolts turning 8500rpm 14;1 comp. not broken rods bolts yet

Hey pplz, i have a fully worked A14 which i use to run a std crank in, now i have gone to a A15 Crank, i have 11mm flycuts in piston tops, since running the A15 crank i keep snapping the bolts, any info in the way of wot type bolts i can use, or should i get some made up, currently rebuilding, also will compression be to high as its only bored 80tho not 120, cant afford avgas nemore
