I'm always the same after a sprint meet B310. I drive home right on the speed limit and I am so tired from all of the adrenalin that I usually have a shower and go straight to bed when I get home.

Last month i went down to Wakefield Park to watch the track day Autosports put on. Initially i was Very critical of all the spins & such, but on the way i thought it over & came to a different conclusion. This was that they were doing it in a save place, nobody hurt anybody else & they were all having a great time. So do send them to track days, supersprints, etc & let them get it out of there system. I bet there were about 60 drivers left Wakefield Park driving a lot more sensibly than normal. I found after competing at an event that i would be holding up traffic driving home, because i'd be so relaxed.

D_A_T_T_O dont send the idiots to the track mate.....there are plenty of things to hit like other race cars like mine and solid concrete walls and also they have MORE stringent rules on the track than the street. Also the fines are alot higer and they have kangaroo courts where you dont even get a say. BTW SR20DET utes are roadworthy cause the engine capacity you can install is worked out on GVM. Coupes and sedan have much lower GVM than a ute and therefore can only have a 1.8 litre turbo

I'm not trying to lecture you Shmity but can I suggest you take your good fortune as a sign and go and get your car engineered?

If you have an accident or clean up a pedestrian you will have no insurance and spend the rest of your life paying off the bill.

Sorry if this comes across as being high and mighty.
Matty

Things aren't like they used to be! thats for sure!!!!!

When i was a kid i was caught riding my yz80 up the local bush with a few mates when we were chased by the local copper, Sgt dale, tuns out that all the others got away and i was the only one he caught, he literally kicked me up the ass and told me to walk it home, He knew both my parents but knew my oldman very well, they used to drink at the local pub together, he threatened me he would tell my oldman, and i belived him! scared the sh!t out of me! didn't go riding for about 2 months. Its not like that these days, funny how times change.

It should be a warning! might not be so lucky next time!

my brother drives an EF XR^ on his ps and gets pulled over lots coz its lowered, personalised plates and has a nice set of wheels and he gets pulled over every time he drives the thing nearly ("random licence and breathe test". random my arse), whereas me in my B120 with patchy paint and 12" wheels has never been pulled over in the 6 months ive had it on the road.

oh, and i also dont bother putting p plates up, while he does...

i didnt really think that it matter what state?? police are always going to be hard on p platers regardless of what state there in, a lot of my mates get pulled over very often and alot get defected for as littler things as no water in the windscreen washer bottle and have a few mates that have had there cars impounded for 3-9 months for liltle burnouts. it all depends on the way u drive.
