If anyone has any Info on these boxes... Plz let us know.
The problem I'm having finding one might just be because I don't quite know what I'm looking for?
What car, year models they came in, any mods to put behind a CA18det?? even a pic of the car.

Sorry if this is getting a bit 'off origional subject'.

well i got a stumpy box from U PULL IT for 80bucks haha

and chuckd it on my ca18det with a t28bb and it works a treat and changed at redline everytime without a sound..

so mabe sum people just had a bad box when they give bad feedback, but i say put new bearings in it which cost 80bucks for the 2. and use good oil, then ur fine.

my stumpy box changes fine at 6200ish rpm
id say their strength would be the main worry behind a CA....seems as ive made mine rather noisy in the whole 3 days of driving behind a worked L series and button clutch

i saw a conversion to run a skyline box with the ca wonder how that would go ay umm
might get one down the track people think the stumpy box is crap for changing at high revs soon see the stumpy might get the flick lol

Looking at doing the same conversion in the future, do you HAVE to run a stumpy box? any other tips and tricks to look out for ? ( got a 73 1200 coupe)
Any tips/ help appreciated.

any luck yet with that stumpy box?
Any ideas on getting hold of one?
I've been looking around and Mad Dat is the only ones I've seen.

$1800 with every thing you need to do the job sounds good to me,....il have to see if they have a stumpy 5 speedbox lyning around aswell
il give ichibarn a crack .....cheeers

hey hotrocket. .
look into ichibarn proformance engines thats where i got mine from they just sold me everythin i needed in a kit didnt need a halfcut. . and it was cheaper than everyother place at the time cost me bout 1800 with warrenty and everythin. . hmb if u hav any probs
