auto body! i have both and let me tell you at least a over all of 6 inches more room in the auto tunnel. I measured it out and i have about 3 inches more on each side of where bellhousing goes.. so in the manual chassis i will be obviously using a hammer :)

was it a manual or auto body? is it pretty tight up against the firewall/tunnel? ( I'm thinking of doing the same conversion) any tips/ problems incountered would be greatly appreciated.

sorry for video being so dark.. anyways its a 1973 datsun 510 wagon diff. with 4:38 datsun 4x4 truck gearing. i swapped the 510 spider gears over to make the 510 axles work with it. I hope this diff lasts a little while anyways. I break the axles with my ks24e and de 1200 i had a while back. then again it was welded diff. I have not welded this diff yet. I have read the early 521 datsun pickups use same width rear end as a datsun 510 wagon but its a h190 ? also i know the 510 wagon is 23 spline axles and the truck is 27 or 29 i forgot what i counted. I dont want to run 6 lug in rear so i would do somthing with axle to make it 4 lug :)

walk around of car and under it on the lift. Not done yet and body is kinda rough.. but these chassis are hard to come by in usa.. so yeh i took what i could get basically. Still needs to put suspension in front, rear shocks, exhaust system, interior.... chassis wiring. its getting there.
