You can leave the stock exhaust manifold, and there are aftermarket companies that will sell you an exhaust piece that will clear the engine compartment.

I hear this is the motor of choice for morris owners, so it's bin done alot, but you might be beter asking on a morris forum as I am shour there would be a few? good luck!

I have installed a Datsun 120y engine in a Morris Minor - does anyone out have advice on the exhaust manifild.

Do I cut the existing one and rotate to get out of chassis or build a new larger manifold.
