Some one on here had some 120y struts with S13 brakes for sale about a week ago for $600. These will make your 1200 stop . Did this conversion to mine and can't fault it even after giving them a real hard time.
Cheers
Bob

agreed 120y discs (pbr version) stop well.

got them on my sedan.

just remember to use your 1200 springs otherwise you'll raise the front an inch or so

For a simple bolt in upgrade, try & find a late production 120Y with the PBR disc & calipers, which are identical to the Sigma brakes of the same era. they go straight in & all you have to do is change the strut tops from the 120Y to 1200. you don't even have to change the master cylinder. I once had a police car almost run into the back of me because i stopped so quick from the 120 k's (110 zone) but then Commodore turbo's have pretty poor brakes .
. I used the same brakes in circuit racing my first 1200, it wasn't til i got a serious A15 that they became too small. Should be the simplest answer, not cutting struts down, no changing lower control arms & steering arms.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.
