They are all like that, (1000, 12000) whoever shortens and balances your tailshaft should be able to fit new uni joints for you.

I am putting a Sunny 1200 motor, gearbox and diff in my old Morris. The tailshaft I have is the non replaceable uni type, The tailshaft has to be shortened so I would prefer one that I can fit new uni joints to. So what cars had tailshafts with replaceable uni joints and would a 1000 tailshafts fit?
