Lampy Im glad you are not wrecking such a fine car
as for what someone said it lasting another 40 years
that it would with nothing done to it just taken back
to original and never looking after it which what many
put up with.
If however someone did look after it by storing it under
cover or in a shed then it will outlive anyone on this forum
and their children.
Also when do you want to take the VB10 causee at the
moment my B10 is nagging me for the shed space.

The clock says 13800 but it has definatly gone round once or twice

That sports option it a nice wheel!

I was having a look at the vanette option a few weeks ago. Wasnt there some issue with the steering arm being heigher up. (bump steer problem??)

Also is the Vannette 4 or 5 stud. Where im living at the moment all the wreckers have never seen a vanette. I dont really want to go to 5 stud

Sounds like a great option if the above issues are sorted

Lampy the steering wheel to look out for looks like this, it's the sports option.

Sports Steering Wheel

I thought I had one but it may not happen, depends really.

So the next most favourable (for me anyway) is the one that you sold.

How many miles has the new addition done?

lower ball joints can be purchased on ebay or you could do a vannete front discs and hubs etc and you have to use the vannete ball joints and fit them into the upper and lower arms

sorry clyons8 the steering wheel has already been taken by somebody else. It seems a lot of people are after them?

Started stripping paint today.
She contains quite a bit of rust. The spare wheel well is falling apart and the rear wheel arch has quite a lot. All fixable though

The suspension is being stripped and is off to the sandblasters soon

Needs all new ball joints and bushes which are going to be interesting to locate

Might turn into a daily driver later considering fuel prices at the moment

What about gippsland victoria?

I think a guy had one for sale there, he definitely had a four door that was a bit tired.

Send me a PM for his email address, I'm not absolutely sure he has one though.

So lampy what have you got planned for this two door? Can I have the 'D with wings' steering wheel since you have two now?

Hey lampy,

Nice one!

I love the 2 doors, got one shipped all the way up here. Cost an absolute fortune and I didn't even check it out before it was shipped (I was up here, photos only) so it was a bloody gamble. When she turned up it turns out she'd done 36 600 miles ever since day 1. So I was very happy indeed.

Seems you're making good progress. I'm yet to pull mine apart for new paint. Still waiting on paint for the A14 to go in and my H150 (thanks Brent).

Nice score and thumbs up on the rescue.
