I am on to 4th year apprentice in landscaping and hort, started on 207 bucks a week as a first year,so many times i nearly through it in, because i was struggling so much, but at the end of this year i finallly get signed of and will be put straight into a managers role, Yep and they wonder why theres a skills shortage.

fark no wonder there's a skills shortage, I make that much working one day a week doing unskilled labour.

I was on $175 as a first year. I could only just afford to pay rent in a sharehouse, $50 for food and enough to buy a 6pack of coopers pale. (i rode a bmx and my datsuns sat at my mums.)

Damn, that was 9yrs ago now.
