YEa the catalog i got is not the best, i did find that a mazda 323 1296cc e3 engine has pretty much a flat top(1 tiny valve recess) it has a 77mm bore but comes in oversizes also 20mm pin and i dont think it would need the top machining down, but yea i dont know this stuff im just reading it from the catalog so im probley wrong

just did a quick look at the acl piston catalog i got on me computer, u sure there flat tops??? its listing a 10.5cc dished piston and a 7.8cc dished piston??? takes a 20mm gudgen pin so youll have to bore the rod end out also they got a 32mm comp height so 2mm will probley have to be taken off the top which may then make it a flat top??

Hey guys i want to use the MX5 1600 78mm bore piston in my new A14 motor, mostly because its a flat-top. Have anyone used them before, were they a success if not, what problems did you experience with them?

Thanks
