hmm thanks for the info. As far as my dolla will take me i suppose, i was thinking of doing forged internals but wasn;t looking forward to it i might attempt this idea when i've finished uni cheers for the help

hmm gt30 on a stock ca18det .. i don't really think you will use it to it full potential but here is a list of needed items..

start with the basics,
fmic, 3- 4"exhaust, a decent ecu thats tunable, microtech, autronic etc..
injectors at least 550cc i would go bigger to make use of the turbo
then the fuel pump, o44 should do the trick,

set it all up on the dyno, and tune it with the stock motor and you will maybe get up to 300hp before it all goes bad...


to make use of a gt30 you will be looking at a full forged rebuild, headstuds and a decent headgasket. then a set big cams, solid lifters ported head. the list goes on how far do you want to go???

hey guys i have a 1600 with a ca18det in it as it sits its stock. I just wanted to know what would be needed to put a gt30bb turbo onto obviously a custom exhaust manifold to suit a t3 flange and i have an idea on others things but id rather someone talk to me who is more mechanicaly minded than i am or the dipshits giving me the information
