Try using one of these.
It does need a connection to the inlet runner but it is very sensitive and won't interfere with the air flow to that runner like a Unisyn does.
They aren't very expensive so you might want to get a pair so you can read the vacuum pulled on a good cylinder compared to the bad ones.

yeh had one for me last 1200 with twin su's thought since i used quad throtts, I wouldnt need one. but since i only got problems with the front and back pistons its an air problem

I just bought one a couple months back, a must have, before that I would use a large peice of rubber hose and you can hear the difference as the air rushes in and get it somewhere handy.

Does anyone here in Perth have a Carbalancer??? Its for balancing multiple carbies. I need to use one to balance the injection setup. The front and rear cyls are backfiring. Just wanna tune them to make sure they are recieving the right air.
