So using an a10 flywheel on an a14 is a good thing?

Generally speaking, the flywheel weights increased along with each capacity increase.
A10 engines have the lightest flywheel while A15's have the heaviest, so an A12 flywheel on an A14 engine is effectively the same as a cut down A14 one.

Any particular reason for wanting the A14 flywheel specifically?

would be able to help with an a12 which is the same mounting for everything but potentially a different weight again
