Me and my mate tim (datwags) have one. He's planning a groundup restoration on his sometime. It's pretty shmick as is. Mines a bit rougher, and I'll need to do something on the panels sometime soon. They're both completely stock. We're in adelaide. the local datsport got quite a shock when we both pulled up in our 1200 wagons. Even they hadn't seen one for ages.

I don't know if the one I saw back on the last school hols while I was in Bris is owned by anyone who visits this site. It was a very good looking pale blue number. I saw it on Orange Grove road at Rocklea. Sounded stock but had some fat feet and a young fella at the helm. Its condition is what caught my eye. Hang on it may have been tan. Bugger I hate getting old Later that same week,I parked beside a 1600 wagon in Toowoomba. I haven't seen either of these models since I was a young whipper snapper. I recon that the wagons and vans would have to be much rarer than the coupes. Gotta be worth more on resale, not that we would ever sell our beloved ones. I'd swap my teenagers for one though

I've got one that I'm restoring. When done she'll be off-white 2pak, venetians and coupe dash and cowl vents, 13x6 globes and A14 with GX intake. Other than that, totally stock. Haven't done much to it yet, just been buying up any NOS parts I can get.

I'll also ashamedly admit to putting two wagons into early graves in my younger and stupider days.

So aside from the one I have and the 2 I used to own, I've seen maybe 5 more in Victoria over the past 7 or so years.[in the flesh, not on here in pics]

oca18..the 2dr wagons were caould vans if i am not mistaken..wagons themselves are not overly common as most are usually sitting rusting in a paddock in the middle of woop woop, but the vans i assume would be even harder to find then a wagon.

a few months ago some guy on EBAY was selling 3 wagons and wouldn't seperate when i looked at the pics 1 was actually repairable but the cancer in the other 2 was too far gone but good parts on them as well.

no idea as to the rubbers we are going to use, and most definately a turbo, and will be using CA16 cams, one thing i am desperate to get but am pretty sure is next to impossible to do is put Power Sterring in the wagon..all PS boxes are just too big and i cant handle no PS :( so i am going to have to adjust.

i am wanting to put power windows in the wagon too, as well as remote central locking.

i have chrome Stanze roof racks i am going to put on it and as i said b4 the venetians and sun visor so i am wanting to get the granny look going!!

i am going to be tweaking the engine as i go and will hopefully do most of that work myself.

we are putting in a CA, and otherwise keeping it looking as stock as possible, we'll get the venetians, and stuff on it too. cd player and hopefully throw a sun visor on her too, possibly moon disk hubbies on 15's.

still got alot of work ahead but we have some more time on our hands atm to work on her so i tihnk we'll get some body work done.
