Thanks. Don't know why I thought it would just bolt on. Nothing else I've done has!! Something about working on 35 year old cars.

Different cylinder

The piston depth on your original if the pushrod is captive won't be deep enough for the boosted setup

Hi all. I've got a brake booster from a '76 120y and I wish to put it on my '74 120y. My question is, the dual master cylinder on mine is only a few months old and I'm wondering if it will go on the booster in place of the original which, for all I know could be about to go to Dato heaven.
I'm aware of having to connect to the manifold and modifying brake lines , I'm just not sure as to whether the two units are interchangeable or do they have a different drive pin setup?
Thanks
Bob
