ive got the same problem, but mine is a racecar so its not as vital, but mine also blows the blinkers.
it has the h4 light upgrade so im thinking it is overloaded.
but you could spend days tearing your hair out and 10 mins with the auto sparky and i would probably be fixed. bear in mind i think the going rate of laybor is 80 bucks, but dont quote me.

thats probably the best bet, should only cost $50-$100, it'll probably ending up being the smallest thing that needs to be fixed,but at least you know it'll be fixed properly.

just be careful, with my sedan that i owned 10yrs ago the same thing happened to me without me relising it, one night coming home from work i could smell burning plastic, it turned out that the fuse got that hot it burned a hole in the fuse box.

Turned out it was a short in the wiring, get yourself a test light and inspect for burnt wires and check the light connection and replace if necessary.

righto, ill check all the fitting again. also, if its the head lights, why is it blowing my night tail light and dash light?

The short may be in the headlight Since it occurs whenever you move the knob.

hmmm no help from anyone? i unpluged everything and slowly plugged them back in. it worked, but then the fuse blew again later. HELP ME!!!

so anyone point me in a direction? no dash lights and no tail lights = no driving at night. ive followed the leads that go from the backinto the cab and ive checked ehind my tail lights and under the dash. maybe not hard enough. help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

hmm just read your reply better graem. so if i unplug everything hooked up o that fuse and plug them in one by one i should be closer to the culprit. can anyone tell me what else is hooked up the the fuse that is closest to the drive door and closest to the rear of the car if you get me.

hmm thought i had it fixed. but i just went to drive it now and the lights were out again. i checked everything that i could. damn this is annoying!! whats an auto electrician charge an hours?
