Ok fellas I know the H190 alloy carrier is avail from early fairladys and some other van and trucks but after seen so many modern h190 going to the crushers at wreckers without salvage I think its time for a solution.
Most people prefer the R31 solution as they have an LSD solution readily available but its heavy and not 2 piece like the H190.
Now I would like to find a way to reproduce the H190 gear carrier in alloy and with an added sump like on alfa romeo differentials of yesteryear. Im thinking of getting a gear carrier in cast iron and adding all the alfa bits like sump and fins with extra re-inforcing using bog and aircraft steel putty for a final mold.
Any suggestions or issues I could run into as I have a casting place near by that does several kinds of car parts and are struggling for extra work.
this is the Alfa Romeo Masterpice next to a H165, also note this rear end was using behind 400hp Euro race Montreals and more.
