Datto engines love to rev, you can have great fun with just a few simple mods. Espically if your a beginner.
A webber and a set of extractors will get you started. even a fresh head gasket wouldnt be a bad idea and can give you the chance to shave the head and maybe even a port job. (I would look for a GX head) if possible.

The next step would be rebuidling your motor or upgrading (A14/A15) and even twin cam turbo conversions for the Datto top guns.

Once you decide there is heaps of info here that will get you out of trouble.

i got a 1200 ute, it has a stock a12 engine and was wondering what you can do to that engine to give it mroe power....or is conversion best thing??
