yep they sure where, i was told to stay away, but thankfully i had 3 u67's. 1 was completely shagged but had all the good stuff on it and the other 2 were in perfect shape. Over all the L series was a great motor but so was the a series. i wont say all datto motors were good cause i know of a few that were crap.

L20 head up to s1 bluey
how many of those have i welded over the years
must be hundreds
easy to get
v91 has bigger intake ports but notorious for cracking in the roof

the best part about the heads is that they all fit every motor from L16 to the L20b, i use the U67 head

yeah, the powers above gave us all a 17% engine capacity increase using family motors, so the a14 is the real way to go, however, from there you can go as far as you really want, 79mm pistons might just have to be ordered!!

so the a15 is the way to go, the l series isnt like that as they all share the same type head with a few small differences

so which one is better with turbo/supercharger the a15 or a14, because in the L series the L18 was better suited for turbo or super
