Just got the exhuast back on and took it for another hot lap. Mmmm 5spd is soo good. The old diff dont like the overdrive though :P Its running a little like #OOPS# down low, timing might be a lil out, or stale fuel? Gonna start taking it to work too.

Might be taking it down to Harvey for a friends 21st as the Jackaroo has shat a clutch and I cant afford the $800 for a new kit atm.

I finally convinced the missus to not do a VW beatle, and she likes the 1k wagons now, so if the list of things that need to be bought first wasnt so extensive, then I might have been keen, but alas not the case.
Sheds, Daisy, posties, house repairs, boomsticks, alas the list goes on. Unfortunaly a 1k wagon is last...

So after weeks and weeks of procrastination ive finally just gotten back from taking it around the block. A couple of really weird elec gremlins i need to sort and put the exhuast on and it will be ready to sell. Its gonna be sad but i really need the money and might be moving soon so no room for 3 cars + all my crap. I forgot how shiney it was too

What does everybody recon its worth complete, as is? Im thinking 5k. Its got alot of gear under it and a good tidy shell.

Bit of a update... IT RUNS! I finnished putting the underbonnet stuff back together and went to see if the new starter was gonna work... And it sounded like it wanted to fire! So i got in and 2nd crank and it fired to life after sitting for 6months!

Now all i have left is to root around with the gearbox x member for the 5spd. Its being very painfull but ill see what i can do tomorro about it.

your selling the 1000 to get something simple and reliable??

if your into rock crawling why not get a bomb 1000 cut it up and stick it on a rock crawler chassis hahaha
