That cherry is sex on wheels.
Too bad the import costs from the US to AUS are so heavy, otherwise I would be extremely interested....

Craigslist not mine just spotted it US Rhode Island

I'm selling the 1975 Datsun Cherry that I imported from England about a year and a half ago. It is a tiny right-hand-drive car with an equally tiny 1-liter engine, so it does pretty well on gas. At the time there were only 6 of these cars left in England, so it is very rare. luckily it has many parts in common with Datsuns that were sold in the USA.

The body has a very small amount of rust, especially considering the age of the car. It made the 600 mile trip to Syracuse an back for Thanksgiving, and if it doesn't sell too soon it will be taking me to Syracuse again for Christmas. It will need some regular attention, but the car comes with a whole lot of spare parts and NOS parts.

I switched the speedometer, but the car has covered only about 80,000 original miles... very low for a 33 year old car!

I had another car almost exactly like this one - a 1974 Datsun Cherry Estate (wagon) that was also imported from England that was totalled in a sideswipe accident, and I saved all of the parts, which will be included in the sale. Some of the parts are in Syracuse and I can pick them up for you when I'm home for the holidays. I also had a 1976 F10 SCCA race car, so many of the parts from that car are included in the sale as well. (racing cams, crankshafts, bearings, side-draft carburettors, intakes, exhaust manifolds, cylinder heads, engine blocks, 5-speed transmissions, pistons, etc)

Please let me know if you have any questions about this very unique car.
