Yes, running different rubber front & rear is OK. My favorite combo on my B110 was 165/70 R12 at the front, 185/60 R13 at the rear. It handled well for a street car that way, and looked good (slightly higher in the back).

I haven't run the same size front & rear for about 30 years.
My driving involves a lot of longer distance highway mileage, so I usually go for something with a larger diameter than stock on the rear to give me some taller overall gearing. This often corrects the speedo error as well.
I have never bothered to rotate tyres either & I have never seen a demonstrated advantage with this practice.

For the front I will run something with a stock diameter or a little smaller if the front has been lowered to help ensure that there is adequate clearance when turning the wheels on full lock.

Both my 1000 sedan & my current 1200 coupe ran/run 185x60x13 on the front. This is pretty much equal to the 1000's original 5.50x12 cross ply & the 1200's 155R12 radial ply optional tyre.

For the rears I used 205x60x13's & these are within 2mm of the 1200's stock 600x12 cross ply tyre size. The rubber 'rake' that this produces also gives the car a little 'attitude' which looks good to me.

There is no need to run different size tires front and rear IMO, unless you want change streering characteristics, i.e. if you want more grip at the front, increase front tire width and vice versa.

BR,
Matti

edit: included IMO

I am running 185/75-13 on the rear but had to go down a touch on the front so as not to rub full lock reverse 175/75-13. All are mounted on 13x5.5 rim. I have found this to be a good combo for every day driving.

Hi Sumith,

B210s used the same wheels and tires at all four corners.

Japan-market B210 GX
* 12" x 4" wheels, probably used 155SR-12 tires

USA-market B210 GX
* 13" x 4.5" wheels, 155SR-13 tires

GX trim came in 4-dr sedan and Coupe forms.

What is your chassis Type and build date? I can tell you more about your B210. The Type is listed under the bonnet here:
