I made a secondary panel under the glove box out of 2mm aluminium sheet. Belted a few ribs using a piece of steel bar and the bench vice across the length, turned up the edges, and it's quite strong. Once it's painted black, it's a godsend for more space.

If you have a Ute, I'd mount it behind the seats on the back panel. Good idea to keep it off the floor in the event of torrential rain or water crossing.

I mounted factory CA18 ecu on passenger side and then made new kickpanel from MDF to cover it. Smoothed the MDF with some body filler to assist in getting a nice shape, before covering with vinyl.

Well I should have my Haltech E8 in the next day or so for the car, so I'm wondering where most people mount the ECU in the cab? I was thinking around the glove box on the passanger side or perhaps if I got some new kick panels off "fly" I could mount it behind there on the passanger side.

Any thoughts?
