looks like i will need to counterbore the centre for flywheel clearance
finished the dowel holes to size. block and bell housing slips over dowels effortlessly.

making an adaptor to fit toyota W50 5sp (steel case)
spent 12 hrs measuring both bell housings, clocking in and drilling the dowel holes in the plate
cutting out plate and milling both sides
but its all within 0.001"
nissan just had to make the CA a slant motor!!!!
ended up using the digital read out on the mill to do the angled dowel holes as a pcd

plate milled both sides and drilled for dowel holes. CA separator plate overlaid.note crank CL reference hole

toyota bell housing overlaid
more to come. need to machine dowel holes to finished size. drill and countersink bolt holes.bore starter location hole. grind both sides to finished thickness. bore out hole in centre. lightening holes.

FYI:
just bolted a vr commo disc onto a stanza strut with all the stanza bearings. 5mm taller in height ie: 10mm wider track
hilux 2 pot sumitomo caliper (RN40) has same bolt spacing as girlock too but is off centre by approx 5mm
hmmm ford disc (same bearings again), hilux 4 spotter, matching bolt pattern for hilux diff

you all went very quiet when i suggested having to work for the A14
