mx5 has a b6 (1600) or a bp (1800)
all dohc will be wide
4age slightly narrower and heaps better engine and huge no of hot parts
g13 suzi good too

suzuki swift motor would be the best bit of stuffing around but its lighter then the original and they have a heap of performance parts

I heard the MX5 (Miata) engine was quite bulky for its size.

me im doing it atm but with the 1.6 and turbo and no manual same motor family though also its a hassle to do if i where to start again i would of built a killer a series

took a mx5 1998 for a drive and has a nice reving lil 1.8 motor with a nice 5 speed
anyone done or look'd at this convershion
