Get onto Mike for some Watanabes more like it!

that is complete bullshit!

and sea freight isnt no where that much!

do you actually know how much they are new tho?

the smallest size in my range is 13x8 -6 (a good size :P) is $420USD + shipping each.. so they arnt exactly cheap but still, that was a rip on shipping and a very poor and con way to do things. still you should always get a shipping quote before paying!

It is a good site like unfamilia said.
i have used them for a while as you can get hard to find parts resonably cheap . freight will alwas be a killer no matter what you do lol but i admit the monsters is a bit much sometimes. u can check the total cost before you buy just click on the estimate button.
I wanted a momo steering wheel with airbag for my liberty , subaru said 2500
found the control unit steering wheel and passanger side airbag on the monster and paid a total of $300 i was very happy
ohh and you now can import cars through these guys

its a good service and you can get the shipping quote before making a bid.
Keep in mind the yen is rubbish at the moment with the aus $$$ (more like cents)

Same with US$ (how that is so high who the hell knows with all thier financial woes).

You might get item cheap but freight is the killer.
I used them once and shipping when the $ vs yen was 98 was great.

Only for smaller items like turbos or smaller...

Thought I would check out this import monster thing.

Found some mags that were quite cheap, (but well worn) that I could bid on at 12000 yen or about $200Aus.

watanabe mags

Found it a little odd that you have to have cash transfered first, but it makes sense, so did that.

Then went to place bid at $200 and then it lists the expected costs to get them here.

Total cost came to just over $1200Aus, and that was via their sea container!

$1200 for 4 crappy rims that need a reasonable amount of work. I can buy them from fleabay cheaper than that and almost new!

Might as well delete that account now
