John,

That would be fine. It isn't in the way or anything.

I could hang onto it for as long as you needed really.

If someone hypothetically made an offer that was acceptable on it, and they handed over the money, would it be possible to hold onto the engine where it is for approximately a month? Given what it cost me to get stuff from QLD recently, it's actually cheaper (although I guess time is money) to drive over and pick something up than to freight it.

I'd not be able to make the trip for about a month though, so thought I'd better ask if that's even possible before I made an offer!

Well I have finally pulled the pin on the last buyer as he wasn't serious.

I am even further behind on funds so I need this gone.

I'll sell the engine on it's own for $500, I am negotiable. It owes me storage and transportation and almost two years of torturous threats from the very anti-Datsun missus.

Here is the engine's story:

I purchased this engine about 18 months ago. The previous owner had the engine re-built and it had been run-in afterward. The clean cork gaskets are a good indication of the so-said rebuild.

Here are some details:

Start with the missings:

- No Flywheel

- No Fuel Pump

- No starter motor

- No alternator

- Thermostat & Housing

There are clear photographs of the engine, what is on the engine is what comes with engine.

I would suggest the engine be run in for a few hours on an engine stand as a second measure. It's obviously a great starting point for a performance engine.

The previous owner had an EFI setup on the engine which explains the block-off plate over the mechanical fuel-pump void. I would assume he was running an electric fuel pump.

I had intended to use this in my B10 but I have since decided to run a smaller, more original arrangement.

Here is the last link to the last sale:

Last EOI sale

Here are pictures of the engine. Again.
